Building on her remarkable year of advocacy and thought leadership for body image positivity as the 2023 Australian of the Year, Taryn Brumfitt has since launched several significant projects and initiatives, touching the lives of over 200 million people worldwide. Kicking off 2024, she introduced the body-positive children's book Chico in partnership with Penguin Books. This was followed by a series of resource launches through her charity, The Embrace Collective, including Body Blocks for early childhood education, the Embrace Kids Classroom program for schools, Activate for sporting clubs, and Embrace Live events nationwide, reaching over 2,000 children across the country.

Taryn’s journey began with a personal struggle against societal beauty norms, culminating in a bold decision to share her story through viral social media posts over a decade ago. As the founder of the Body Image Movement, Taryn has leveraged her platform to direct and produce impactful documentaries.
