Exercise Physiologist, Nutritionist, Neuroscientist and Affiliate Professor
Paul Taylor is a speaker and educator whose love for health and wellbeing goes far beyond himself, as he desires to create a healthier world. His positive attitude and charismatic personality make for an enthused presentation ensuring audiences leave with knowledge they had previously been unknown.
As a former British Royal Navy Aircrew Officer, Paul has established himself as a successful Exercise Physiologist, Nutritionist, Neuroscientist and Affiliate Professor at The University of San Francisco.
Taylor is the Director of The Body-Brain Performance Institute, where he delivers powerful workshops to large corporations including Medibank, NAB, Johnson & Johnson and Woolworths, about executive performance, resilience and leadership.
He is also the founder and former owner of The Personal Training Academy, where his BioAge software was utilised and has now been rolled out to gyms both nationally and internationally, including Fitness First.
In 2010, Paul created and co-hosted the Channel One television series Body and Brain Overhaul, as well as appearing as a regular consultant on The Biggest Loser. In 2010 and 2015, he was voted as Australian Fitness Industry presenter of the Year.
Ritualize, a wellbeing website and program Paul created, is currently being released to the public after its successful trial with over 200,000 Woolworths staff.
As well as his extensive background within the health and wellbeing sector, Paul has experience in leadership, management and resilience. His background as an Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer and a Helicopter Search and Rescue Team Member with the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm, saw him be involved in rigorous training in combat survival and resistance to interrogation. In 2012, he became a professional boxer to demonstrate the importance of resilience.
