Clare Stephens is a popular digital content creator, Logie Nominated screenwriter, editor, producer, and podcaster with a career spanning various media platforms. Previously serving as Editor-in-Chief, Clare can currently be seen as an Executive Editor at Mamamia, Australia's largest independent women's media network. Clare has played a vital role in producing some of the site’s most viral content and continues to drive Mamamia's editorial success.
Clare is the creator and host of two popular podcasts including, ‘Cancelled’, a comedy show that has consistently topped Australia’s comedy charts and received recognition as one of the top 10 Listener’s Choice shows at the 2022 Australian Podcast Awards, and ‘But, Are You Happy?’, which debuted at #23 on the Australian Podcast Ranker in 2023, and was ranked as Apple Podcast's number 1 show of 2023. Notable guests on her podcast include Angourie Rice, Ariarne Titmus, Luke McGregor and Hugh Van Cuylenburg, just to name a few. In her Keynote, ‘But, Are You Happy’, Clare draws on the insights gained from her interviews as well as current research to explore how to truly live a happy life.
Clare’s influence can also be seen through her digital content creation, where she is renowned for her engaging recaps of viral pop culture stories. Her videos on Instagram and TikTok have garnered millions of views, and she has collaborated with major brands such as SBS, Loreal, Kayo, Tourism Northern Territory, Deliveroo, Hello Fresh, Toyota, MARS, and many more.
Clare has also made significant contributions as a writer and producer for the Binge series, ‘Strife’, and is currently in the process of writing her debut novel, ‘The Worst Thing I’ve Ever Done’, with Atlantic Books. She’s also known for her witty and intelligent commentary on reality television, seen through her part as one half of The Twins.
