Jerrie Demasi is an investigative journalist who’s built a decorated career focused on storytelling that highlights marginalised voices.
She currently works for Seven News Australia as a senior television reporter and also hosts the network’s national late night bulletin, The Latest.
Having worked as a specialist crime reporter and editor for over a decade, she has won and earned nominations for several prestigious awards including The Kennedy Award’s Outstanding Nightly Television prize and the WA Media Award for Best Television News Report.
Outside of journalism, Jerrie is an established vocal performer having studied Musical Theatre at the prestigious WA Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). She fronts local touring act Felix, playing to thousands every month at events and festivals; with credits including support for INXS, Thirsty Mercy, Baby Animals and De La Soul.
