Combines her love of animals and her passion for television
Combining her love for animals and passion for television, Dr. Lisa Chimes is a well recognised vet on Channel Ten's 'Bondi Vet'.
Graduating from Sydney University in 2006 with First Class Honours in Veterinary Science, Lisa completed an internship in veterinary emergency and critical care in Melbourne. During this time she discovered her passion for providing specialist and compassionate care for dogs and cats.
In 2008, Lisa moved back to Bondi, working at SASH (The Small Animal Specialist Hospital) in North Ryde, Sydney. She worked with several highly experienced and compassionate vets to provide treatment and care to a variety of dogs and cats.
In 2010, she became a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine, receiving post-graduate qualifications.
Lisa is a proud ambassador for several animal charities and companies including Purina, The Animal Welfare League and Atopic Dermatitis Awareness for Dogs.
Happy to share her knowledge on how to keep pets happy and healthy, Lisa has made appearances on Network Ten's 'Ready Steady Cook', 'The Project', 'The Circle', 'Breakfast', 'Ten News', and Channel Nine's 'Mornings'.
