Chelsea Bonner
Author, body positivity advocate and Chief Executive of Bella Management
Making waves in fashion and modelling, Chelsea Bonner is making sure we see diversity in those industries. Through her modelling company Bella Management, Chelsea is passionate about raising the awareness of body image.
Beginning her career as a junior agent, Chelsea has worked at some of the top modelling agencies in Melbourne and Sydney. She has been responsible for launching the careers of some of Australia’s most well-known fashion and advertising photographers, hair and makeup artists and stylists. She has also worked as a model herself.
In 2002, Chelsea founded Bella Models with a focus on changing the perception of sizes and beauty. She has worked tirelessly to ensure we see diversity in magazines, on billboards and on catwalks, redefining fashion model sizing. Her agency has presented models on covers of elite fashion magazines, including Sports Illustrated, Vogue, ELLE, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire.
Chelsea has published her own book, ‘Body Warrior’, which is described as part memoir and part crusade to bring positive change to the fashion industry and women from all walks of life.
