A motivational speaker with an incredible story to tell.
As a passionate environmentalist, Warren MacDonald is strong willed and determined to make a change. Having once been arrested after protesting and chaining himself underneath a bulldozer, Darren lets nothing stand in his way.
On a fateful day in 1997, Darren went exploring, however he became trapped under a fallen boulder. His only hope for survival was a Dutch traveller he had met earlier who went to get help. It wasn’t until two days later that help finally arrived. Unfortunately, both of Warren’s legs need to be amputated, however this hasn’t slowed him down.
After ten months in rehabilitation, Warren climbed Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain. He is the first double above-knee amputee to reach the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro as well as the first over the knee amputee to ascend Canada’s ‘Weeping Wall’, a frozen waterfall.
An inspiration to all he meets, Warren motivate his audience to never give up no matter the challenge. He covers several topics, including change management, productivity and motivation.
