Stevie Jacobs

TV presenter, actor and MC.

Australian television presenter/producer and radio host Steven Jacobs travelled to all corners of the globe as the weather presenter on Nine’s Today Show. Internationally he has travelled to and broadcast from every continent on the planet. He has worked with the largest travel companies, airlines and tourism, bodies around the world to bring incredible pictures and stories to life for Australian morning television.

His energy and rapport with a huge range of people ranging from celebrities to politicians to sports stars and everyday Australians saw him become an audience favourite.

Steven started his career at 18 as the presenter of Kid’s News on Win TV, Wollongong and within six months was assistant producer on the program which went on to win a Penguin Award. He learned all the skills necessary to produce high quality television content on a daily basis for over 5 years. From conceptualising stories, writing, producing, directing, shooting and editing, this start in regional television enabled him to learn all of the skills required to produce engaging content at a very young age.

Steven moved to Melbourne in 1991 to star in the hit sitcom ‘All together Now’ for the Nine Network. After notching up over 100 episodes, he went on to host ‘Saturday at Rick’s’, ‘Just Kidding’, ‘What’s Up Doc?’ ‘Hey Hey it’s Saturday’ and ‘In Melbourne Tonight’. He has also performed a range of other comedic and dramatic acting roles.

He started his own production company, Jaco Productions in 1995 and produced a series of light entertainment programs for the Nine Network. His interest in music also saw him establish an independent record label, ‘AJP Music’ which developed young artists.

He returned to Sydney in 2005 to begin his tenure as the weather presenter on The Today Show where he furthered his skill base, producing and presenting 6 live segments every morning for 12 years. During this time he would regularly shoot tape stories to air as a part of his live segments.

In early 2019, Steven made the move to Nine Radio, hosting and co-writing the music focussed breakfast slot across 2UE, 4BH, 6GT and Magic 1278, where ratings climbed by 173% within 2 years. He continues to write, produce and present a weekly music segment on the Deb Knight show on 2GB.

Steven moved to the Ten Network in 2021 as a semi-regular host of Channel 10’s morning show, Studio 10. He has also become the regular travel correspondent on the program. This role has offered him the opportunity to create travel content domestically and internationally though his own production company. Steven is in charge of all aspects of production from pitching to clients, liasing with sales and tourism departments, organising travel destinations, creating, scripting, producing and presenting content.

Steven has hosted many live events and conferences for national and international clients including Helloworld, Viking Cruises, Scenic Cruises, The National Rock Eisteddfod, the Travel Industry Awards and Narellan Pools.
