Together with his wife Carolyn and son Mitchell, Ron stood by Sophie’s side as she fought for her life in hospital, enduring unimaginable pain and trauma.
Amidst this, Ron faced his own battle with depression, yet found the courage to keep his family strong, and his focus clear. Today, Ron's story serves as a beacon of resilience, inspiring thousands of people, from corporate executives to large event audiences, to push through adversity and rise to meet their challenges with renewed strength.

In 2004, Ron and Carolyn founded the Day of Difference Foundation, a charity committed to supporting critically injured children and their families. To date, the foundation has raised over $14 million to fund vital hospital equipment, research, and support programs. Their foundation provides organisations with a cost-effective way to keep staff or crowds focused during a conference, company bonding session or charity events.
