Kerri one of the fiercest competitors in the world of Volleyball, and is now also known for being a successful inspirational speaker and presenter, entrepreneur, and published author.
When Kerri took up volleyball at the age of fifteen, she hadn't yet dreamed of becoming an Olympic champion. Despite a knee injury in 1992 that could have ended her career, Kerri showed her determination and recovered by late 1993. She made a shift to Beach Volleyball and proceeded to participate in three Olympic Games, achieving remarkable success with two Olympic medals - a Bronze in Atlanta and a Gold in Sydney 2000. This remarkable journey stands as a testament to Kerri's exceptional abilities. Remarkably, from 1994 onwards, she consistently secured her position within the top ten and frequently ranked within the top six in various International Beach Volleyball events.
Having retired from International level competition, Kerri’s journey continues as she now shares her Gold Medal Excellence strategies with corporate audiences to inspire them on their own journey to success. She works closely with her audiences, delivering inspirational presentations and weaving important messages of teamwork, skill, trust, relationship building, leadership, and communication into an unforgettable experience.
Using entertaining anecdotes from her experiences as a competitor and as a regular commentator at the Olympic Games and other sporting events, Kerri motivates and inspires her audiences to overcome their fears and self-doubts, set goals, and push through barriers to achieve them. An expert at reinventing herself time and time again, Kerri can relate to the constant need to deal with a changing world to stay successful and reach even greater goals.
Kerri’s unique message is as relevant to high-level executives as it is to more junior teams, as reflected by her skills in coaching staff at all levels to work together as a cohesive and effective team. Her in-depth research and preparation ensure the content is relevant and specific to each audience every time. A consummate professional and experienced presenter, she is as quick-thinking on her feet now as she was on the courts.
