As a science journalist and presenter of Radio National's Science Show, Robyn Williams makes science fascinating for everyone. He is an enthusiastic presenter, combining his wit and humour with his engaging personality to create a presentation that resonates with audiences.
Robyn has not only been prominent on radio, but has been featured on television programs, including ‘Nature of Australia’, ‘Catalyst’, and ‘World Safari’.
A high achieving academic, Robyn was the first journalist elected as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science. He holds an Honorary Doctorate in Science from the Universities of Sydney, as well as works as a Visiting Professor at the University of NSW and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland.
Authoring over 10 books, including his autobiography, Robyn is passionate about sharing knowledge and igniting a passion for all things learning in everyone.
Although a high academic, Robyn has spent as much time acting as he has studying, having made several guest appearances on ‘The Goodies’, ‘Monty Python’s Flying Circus’ and ‘Dr Who’.
