One of Australia’s most versatile and recognisable sports presenters
James Bracey has brought his presenting skills and unique insights to the sports industry, making him one of the most prolific presenters in Australian media.
James completed his Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) at the University of Newcastle. With his passion for sports commentary, he quickly took up a position at Sky News as a sports presenter and reporter, where he also hosted the popular Sports Nights evening show.
Across his 13 years at Sky News, James would cover three Summer Olympic Games, two Winter Olympic Games, the 2010 Commonwealth Games, as well as the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
After moving to Nine in 2016, James has expanded his role as a core member of the station’s broadcasting team. He is the main anchor for several of Channel Nine’s highest rated sports coverage, including for the Australian Open, the NRL, State of Origin and Grand Final, as well as The Presidents Cup. As the anchor for the popular Sports Sunday program, James was also recently appointed as the leading sports anchor for Nine News.
Thanks to his extensive presenting experience on TV, James is an in-demand speaker and MC for a range of functions.
