Seamus Evans

Inspiring Australians to Build Resilience, Confidence, and Triumph Over Adversity

Seamus Evans is a testament to turning adversity into his greatest strengths. Diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome and ADHD at the young age of 10, Seamus faced academic challenges and graduated with poor grades. However, his natural gift for humour and entertainment shone through from an early age. Seamus explains how adversity can either be a setback or a gateway, empowering people to turn their ‘flaws’ into ‘SUPERPOWERS’.

At just 18, Seamus launched his television career as the lively host of Toasted TV on Network 10, where he spent four years delighting audiences with his infectious energy and unique humour. His role involved everything from interviewing Hollywood celebrities to engaging in playful antics like riding roller coasters covered in slime.

Moving on to Network 10’s Totally Wild, Seamus discovered a passion for storytelling through wildlife and adventure, honing his skills in capturing compelling narratives through visuals. After seven successful years with Network 10, Seamus transitioned into a dynamic career in breakfast radio, energizing Australians across the country each morning for five years.

Over his illustrious career reporting on live television, performing stand-up comedy and hosting breakfast radio shows around the country, Seamus picked up handy tricks and techniques to turn the nerves of public speaking into excitable energy in order to perform at his peak under extreme pressure.

Today, Seamus is a renowned keynote speaker and stand-up comedian, leveraging his extensive media experience to connect with audiences of all ages. His presentations are a blend of fun and poignant storytelling, leaving audiences both laughing and deeply moved, while empowering them to join him in overcoming the fear of speaking in front of crowds. Seamus helps leaders and their teams build higher performing organisations by encouraging them to turn adversity into a superpower.

Seamus is deeply committed to promoting inclusivity and understanding around neurodiversity, collaborating closely with experts to educate schools and workplaces. As an ambassador for Tourette’s Syndrome Association Australia, he travels nationwide, inspiring children and adults alike to embrace their unique qualities and transform challenges into strengths.

Seamus Evans exemplifies resilience and the transformative power of embracing one’s true potential, proving that with determination, acceptance, and a sense of humour, one can conquer any obstacle.
