Greig Pickhaver OAM is one of Australia’s most recognisable and beloved media presenters. Better known as the comedy character HG Nelson, Greig has been a leading presenter for ABC Radio’s Triple J since 1985.

Presenting alongside Roy Slaven, the pair have been the hosts of the long-running program "This Sporting Life" on Triple J. Their Olympic broadcasts, "The Dream", was hugely successful and even won a Logie Award for Most Popular Sports Program. They have also been nominated for several Logie awards, including Most Oustanding Comedy Program for "The Ice Dream", and Most Popular Sports Program for "The Dream in Athens".

HG Nelson also has a range of other TV credits, including on The Project, It’s A Knockout, The Channel Nine Show, The Monday Dump, Roy & HG’s Spring Carnival and The Cream.

His service to Australian media was recognised in the Queen’s Birthday honours list of 2010, which saw Greig receive an OAM appointment for his media work.

He also contributes his time as a proud supporter of different charity organisations, including the United Nations Children’s Fund in Australia.
