Emo Majok

Emo Majok, an acclaimed South Sudanese comedian based in Perth, gained widespread recognition after his 'gold buzzer' moment on Australia’s Got Talent 2022, reaching the finals. In the same year, he debuted his award-winning show, 'African Aussie,' at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

His achievements include being named 'Comedian of the Year' in 2021 at Comedy Lounge, a top-tier Australian club. In 2023, he received the 'Best Interstate Act' award at the Comic’s Lounge, the country's largest club, during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Emo has been on a successful tour in the US and Canada, earning the Patron’s Pick award after a sold-out run at the Toronto Fringe Festival. Early in his career, he won the state finals of RAW comedy, Australia’s largest nationwide competition, propelling him to the finals in Melbourne.
