As the Founder and Executive Director of McGrath Limited, John McGrath is one of Australia’s most influential figures in the real estate and property market.
Founded in 1988, John took McGrath Estate Agents from a lounge room start-up to one of Australia's most recognisable and trusted residential real estate groups. The company was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2015, and continues to be one of the fastest growing real estate companies with over 100 offices across the country.
John has written five best-selling books, including “The Ultimate Guide to Real Estate”, “You Don’t Have to be Born Brilliant” and “You Inc.” A leading expert in the professional sector, his books cover everything from navigating the real estate market to becoming the best version of yourself.
In recognition for his work, John was honoured by the Real Estate Institute of NSW with the Woodrow Weight OBE Award in 2008 for his outstanding contribution to the real estate industry. He continues to share his expertise with a range of organisations, including as a Non-Executive Director of REA Group.
