As a food journalist with over a decade in the industry, Jane de Graaff has shared her love of food as a writer, TV presenter, podcaster and recipe developer. Having perfected the art of food storytelling, Jane is passionate about making cooking accessible and fun to everyone.
Jane is a prolific writer on all things food and lifestyle. She has an extensive writing career on nine.com.au, eventually going on to be appointed as their resident Food Editor in 2016. Outside of Nine, Jane was also a senior food writer for Broadsheet Melbourne and Sydney, where she interviewed famous chefs, reviewed new cafes and restaurants, and also wrote copy for Broadsheet’s first ever cookbook.
She continues to deliver insightful pieces across Australian publications like the Herald Sun and The Sydney Morning Herald food and coffee guides.
As a presenter, Jane has been a part of cooking segments and live presentations across Australian TV, including on Channel Nine’s Today, Today Extra, A Current Affair and 9Honey. She is an expert in telling engaging food stories and inspiring Australian audiences to fall in love with the cooking process.
Jane continues to share her love of food and the culinary arts as a keynote speaker. Specialising in live cooking demonstrations, audiences have thoroughly enjoyed her presentations on how she pivoted to a career in food, as well as how everyone can begin experimenting in the kitchen.
