Todd McKenney is acclaimed as one of Australia’s most versatile performing artists, celebrated for his award-winning and critically acclaimed performances both on stage and screen. In 2019 he gained the title role of ‘P.T Barnham’ in Australia’s Greatest Showman, leading the cast in several major productions for the 7 Network, including ‘The Full Monty’, ‘Mates on a Mission’ and ‘Ladies Night’. More recently, Todd could be seen in a production of ‘Cinderella’ (2022), and in ‘Wicked’ as the Wizard (2023).

Among Todd’s stage credits, his role of Peter Allen in the Australian hit production 'The Boy From Oz' was one of his highlights, with over 1000 performances nationwide, making it one of the longest running and most successful musical productions in Australian history. From his debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 'Song and Dance' (1983), to headline roles in stage shows such as 'Cats', 'West Side Story', 'Singin’ In the Rain', 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert', Todd’s versatility shines through. In 2018 he also stepped into stilettos and successfully took on the role of Frank N’ Furter in 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' in Melbourne.
Starting his dance journey at the age of three at his mother’s dancing school in Perth, Todd went on to represent Australia in both ballroom and Latin American dancing, where he was awarded various international titles. His contributions to Australian entertainment for performance in musical theatre have been recognised with prestigious awards including two ‘Mo Awards’, the ‘Variety Club Heart Award’, the ‘Glug Award’, the ‘Green Room Award’, two ‘Australian Dance Awards’, and a ‘Helpmann Award’.
Television audiences have embraced Todd’s wisdom and honesty as the colourful and often controversial judge on the Channel 7 hit series ‘Dancing With the Stars’. He has also made appearances as a guest judge on ‘Australia’s Got Talent’, hosted a variety of morning Television programs, and been an entertaining guest across all networks. In 2018, Todd starred with Shane Jacobson as the choreographer in the Seven Network special ’The Real Full Monty’.
On radio, Todd’s charm has captivated all types of listeners. He could be seen co-hosting Sydney’s MIX106.5FM breakfast radio program with Sonia Kruger for two years, and continues to make regular guest appearances on various programs.
