Beloved New Zealand professional rugby captain making a difference
Benji Marshall has brought his passion for professional rugby to the field with the West Tigers, Brisbane Broncos, St George Illawarra and South Sydney Rabbitohs.
A popular and well-respected player, Benji has captained the New Zealand national team and brought them to a World Cup win in 2008, as well as the Four Nations tournament win in 2010. Benji also won the Golden Boot Award for the world’s best player in 2010.
Benji is equally as prolific on the field as he is in broadcasting. He has co-hosted the 2017 Sunday Breakfast show ‘MEET THE MARSHALLS’ with his wife Zoe for Nova Brisbane. Benji is also an experienced TV presenter, with frequent appearances on NRL 360 with Fox Sports.
With his entrepreneurial skills and likability, Benji won the 2022 Celebrity Apprentice Australia and donated the incredible winnings to supporting disadvantaged and marginalised youths through the charity of his choice - Souths Cares.
