Luke Van Dyck

Luke Van Dyck is a third-generation builder who came to national attention after appearing on Nine Network’s ‘DIY Rescue’ program in 2012. Luke went on to appear on Nine’s ‘Renovation Rescue’, ‘Renovate or Detonate’ and ‘Renovation Rumble’.

Since his appearance he has become an award-winning home builder, successful businessman, author and popular TV presenter.

Owning LVD Industries, Luke works with top architects to build and renovate high-end homes throughout Sydney for various clients including celebrities. In 2009, LVD was recognised as executing the best renovation in New South Wales by the industry and won Look Magazine’s Popular Choice award for ‘Best Renovation’.

At the 2004 Logies, Luke was nominated for ‘Best New Talent’ leading to more television appearances. He has since been featured on ‘Australian Renovation’ on Foxtel’s How To Channel and Nine’s ‘Do It, Do It Green’ and ‘Jack of Trades’.

Luke is regularly asked to appear at various trade shows and celebrity events across the nation. He has given live presentations at HIA Home Shows and often speaks about the use of new energy efficient building materials within the construction industry.

Passionate about raising education in the building industry, he helps homeowners learn about building, renovating and maintaining their investments, and builders and apprentices about the latest products available, how to use them and consumers expectations from tradesmen.  

Luke published his first book titled ‘Home Maintenance’ in 2011. He also contributes to home renovation magazines as well as a variety of media broadcasts.
