David Tubb

Working as Head of Operations at Orange Sky Laundry, David Tubb is responsible for ensuring all services are operating at maximum efficiency and plays an integral role in supporting the volunteer network. He also leads the Technology and Development team to improve Orange Sky’s efficiency and service delivery.

Holding a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) from the University of Queensland and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education from the Australian Catholic University, David is well-educated and highly skilled. 

As the first Service Manager for Orange Sky Laundry, David has helped to shape the volunteer recruitment and retention process, as well as assisted in the growth of the network of volunteers from 250 to over 1,200.

With an analytical mind combined with his developmental skills, David has played a big role in Orange Sky Laundry. He was a founding Board Member of Orange Sky and held the position of Treasurer for the first two years of Orange Sky’s existence. 

Genuine, open to new challenges and armed with a fierce work ethic, David has helped shape the internal culture of Orange Sky.
