Chyka is a successful businesswoman, media personality and editor-in-chief of her online magazine, chyka.com.

Chyka established The Big Group with her husband over 25 years ago. It is now Australia’s largest privately-owned events and catering company. Her eye for styling and design led to the establishment of another business, The Design Depot, a premium special events design firm. Together, she and her husband have created unforgettable events for private and corporate clients ranging from Middle Eastern sheikhs to aristocracy and society’s elite.

Passionate about all things entertaining and homemaking, Chyka has made it her mission to be the leading source of information and inspiration, sharing insightful tips and advice on all things home, outdoor, food and most importantly, entertaining. She has previously worked as the homemaking and styling expert on Good Morning Australia, The Real Housewives of Melbourne and The Australian Women’s Weekly 2016 Christmas Special. Well-known for her entertaining expertise, she has also been a guest presenter on Postcards and The Living Room.

In 2015, Chyka launched chyka.com. It has since then grown into a must-visit destination for her loyal fans to learn Chyka’s insights and solutions on creating a beautiful home life.

In 2018, she released her first book Chyka Home and its success led to her second book, Chyka Celebrate, published in 2019.
