As a two-time cancer survivor, Josie Thomson knows how to beat the odds and come out a success story. An inspiring role model, she is a multi-award winning coach, business owner, and single mother of two.
After completing her masters in neuroscience, Josie went on to build a prolific career in the corporate sector, including two decades of executive coaching with corporate and community leaders.
Well-respected for her mentoring, Josie has been awarded a range of accolades, including the International Gold Stevie Award for Maverick of the Year (Difference Maker) in 2014; The Women in Business Coach/Mentor of the Year 2014 Silver Award in New York City; and AsiaPacific in Shanghai for 2015. She has also been a former finalist for the Telstra Business Woman of the Year.
Josie put her own resilience to the test when she was faced with a cancer diagnosis. Speaking from personal experience, she explores the strategies which helped her reframe her challenges into opportunities for growth. Audiences have benefited greatly from her expertise on resilience and facing a ‘post-traumatic growth disorder’.
In her spare time, Josie is also a proud Ambassador for Childhood Cancer Support and Veterans 4 Youth.
