David Staughton

With over thirty years of experience in numerous industries, including mining, retail, hospitality, tourism, health and business consulting, David is an award-winning businessman and expert in growing businesses.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Honors), David started his own hospitality business after working for five of Australia’s largest companies. In fifteen years, he grew and expanded his business, amassing a staff of over 200 and running over 2000 weddings and events.
In 2001, he sold his business and has since then devoted himself to assisting other companies. David has grown many businesses of all sizes and has coached leaders and teams throughout Australia, laying the groundwork for attracting and satisfying more customers and pushing sales further. David has helped his clients grow and gain multi-million-dollar sales turnarounds with his recipe for success.
Since 2012, David has focused on growing specialist practices, attending surgical conferences and working with plastic surgeons worldwide.
David is one of only 130 Certified Speaking Professionals (CSP) in Australia.
As a speaker, he has over twenty years of experience and has presented to over 750 audiences in ten different countries. He is essentially a walking library of “hands-on” practical business experiences. On stage, he pairs his business expertise with his unique charisma and extensive stage experience. David customises his presentations to suit each audience and event, focusing on service improvement and sales growth strategy. He is also a best-selling author and has contributed to various books on sales and small business practice.
