The Youngest Australian ever to summit Mount Everest
An adventurer at heart, Gabby Kanizay has been inspiring fellow climbers and sharing her love of adventure as she continues to reach new heights.
In May of 2022, Gabby became the youngest Australian to summit Everest. Conceived as an idea when she was only 14, Gabby did not hesitate to act on her goals when she trekked to Base Camp within eight weeks of a conversation with her parents.
Having grown a love for the challenge, Gabby also summited Lhotse, and broke records as the youngest woman to summit Cho Oyu. By 19, Gabby had already summited three peaks over 8,000 metres tall.
Gabby’s inspiring attitude has been profiled across a range of Australian, Himalayan and Nepalese media outlets, and her adventurous spirit is proudly supported by Mountain Designs and Belle Property.
